การศึกษาวิถีชีวิตของเยาวชนไทยมุสลิมเพื่อเสริมสร้างสันติสุขในสามจังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้
A Study of the Thai Muslim Youths Way of Life to Maintaining Peace in the Three Southern Border Provinces of Thailand

Abstract
This research aimed to compare and to suggest with Thai Muslim youths way of life in the three southern border provinces of Thailand. A total of 1,800 Muslim youth and 1,800 Muslim people were interviewed to collect relevant quantitative data, and collected the qualitative data concerned by in-depth interviewing, 36 key-informants and 24 focus groups. The research result was founded that most of Muslim youth did not lead their life in conformity with expectations of Muslim society and Islamic principles. It is clear that the rural Muslim youth are different from the urban in terms of their way of life, nearly in all respects. Suggestions for the Muslim youth to lead their life properly in the three southern border provinces are 1) Muslim religious leaders were imbued the youth with Islamic way of life and prophetic tradition. 2) parents must talk with them in religious matters, be role - model for them, and encourage them to learn both religious and general subjects. 3) the government must inhibit all sorts of misdeeds and intoxicating things, strictly put control on the mass media circulated, promote and develop stabilized and long-term professions, and must enforce Islamic law above all other laws.

บทคัดย่อ
งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาเปรียบเทียบและศึกษาข้อเสนอแนะเกี่ยวกับวิถีชีวิตของเยาวชนไทย มุสลิมในสามจังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้ ซึ่งเก็บข้อมูลเชิงปริมาณโดยการสัมภาษณ์เยาวชนจำนวน 1,800 คน และ ประชาชนทั่วไป จำนวน 1,800 คน และเก็บข้อมูลเชิงคุณภาพโดยการสัมภาษณ์แบบเจาะลึกจำนวน 36 คน และ สัมภาษณ์กลุ่มจำนวน 24 กลุ่ม ผลของการวิจัย พบว่า เยาวชนส่วนใหญ่มีวิถีชีวิตที่ไม่สอดคล้องกับความคาดหวัง ของสังคมมุสลิมและขัดกับหลักการศาสนาอิสลาม โดยเยาวชนในเมืองและในชนบทมีวิถีชีวิตที่แตกต่างกันเกือบ ทุกด้าน และข้อเสนอแนะต่อการดำเนินชีวิตของเยาวชนมุสลิมมีดังนี้ 1) ผู้นำศาสนาต้องปลูกฝังวิถีชีวิตตาม แนวทางอิสลามและตามแบบฉบับท่านศาสดามุฮัมมัด 2) พ่อแม่ต้องพูดคุยเรื่องศาสนา เป็นแบบอย่างที่ดี และส่งเสริมให้เรียนศาสนาควบคู่กับสามัญ 3) รัฐต้องห้ามไม่ให้มีอบายมุข สิ่งของมึนเมาทุกประเภท ควบคุมสื่อ ทุกชนิดที่ผิดหลักการอิสลาม ส่งเสริมและพัฒนาอาชีพ และให้มีการใช้กฎหมายอิสลามมาบังคับใช้อย่างจริงจังและ ให้ถือเป็นกฎหมายที่สูงสุดเด็ดขาด
