Abstract
This research aimed to study the effects of instructional management according to the Science, Technology
and Society Approach on science achievement, problemsolving ability satisfaction and learning behaviour of
Mattayomsuksa Five students. The subjects were 32 Mattayomsuksa Five students in the second semester of the
2005 academic year from Plaipraya-Wittayakom School, Amphur Plaipraya, Krabi Province, all of which were
purposively selected. They were instructed by using the Science, Technology and Society Approach for 21
hours. The research instruments consisted of lesson plans on Heat, achievement test, problem-solving ability
test, students satisfaction test, observation, interviewing and fieldnotes. The research design was group pretestposttest
design. The data were analyzed by mean, standard deviation, t-test for dependent group and content
analysis . The study found that (1) the students achievement was significantly higher on the post-test than
pretest (p<.01); (2) the students problem-solving ability was significantly higher on the post-test than pretest
(p<.01); (3) the students satisfaction was at high level; and (4) the students had a student-centered learning
behaviour, had an ability to seek knowledge by themselves, an ability to plan for solving the problem step by
step, an ability to present new finding to others, an ability to apply knowledge in everyday life and happily learn
to help each other in studying and problem solving.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้ศึกษาผลของการจัดการเรียนรู้ตามแนวคิดวิทยาศาสตร์ เทคโนโลยี และสังคมต่อผลสัมฤทธิ์ทาง
การเรียนวิทยาศาสตร์ ความสามารถในการคิดแก้ปัญหา ความพึงพอใจและพฤติกรรมการเรียนรู้ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยม
ศึกษาปีที่ 5 กลุ่มที่ศึกษาเป็นนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 โรงเรียน ปลายพระยาวิทยาคม อำเภอปลายพระยา จังหวัด
กระบี่ ภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2548 จำนวน 1 ห้องเรียนรวม 32 คน โดยการเลือกแบบเจาะจง กลุ่มที่ศึกษาได้รับ
การจัดการเรียนรู้ตามแนวคิดวิทยาศาสตร ์ เทคโนโลยี และสังคม ใช้เวลาในการจัดการเรียนรู้ 21 ชั่วโมง เครื่องมือที่ใช้
ในการวิจัยประกอบด้วย แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ เรื่อง ความร้อน แบบวัดผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน แบบวัดความสามารถ
ในการคิดแก้ปัญหา แบบวัดความพึงพอใจ การสังเกต สัมภาษณ์ และบันทึกภาคสนาม ดำเนินการทดลองตามแบบ
แผนการวิจัยแบบ One Group Pretest - Posttest Design วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยหาค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน การ
ทดสอบค่าทีชนิดกลุ่มตัวอย่างไม่เป็นอิสระต่อกัน และการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา ผลการวิจัย พบว่า 1) นักเรียนมีผลสัมฤทธิ์
ทางการเรียนหลังเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียนอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01 2) นักเรียนมีความสามารถในการคิด
แก้ปัญหาหลังเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียนอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ ระดับ .01 3) นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 มีความ
พึงพอใจต่อการจัดการเรียนรู้อยู่ในระดับมาก และ 4) นักเรียนมีพฤติกรรมการเรียนรู้โดยนักเรียนเป็นศูนย์กลาง
นักเรียนสามารถเสาะแสวงหาความรู้ได้ด้วยตนเอง สามารถวางแผนแก้ปัญหาได้อย่างมีลำดับขั้นตอน สามารถนำเสนอ
สิ่งที่ตนค้นพบให้ผู้อื่นเข้าใจได้ นักเรียนสามารถนำความรู้ไปประยุกต์ใช้ในชีวิตประจำวัน นักเรียนรู้จักการช่วยเหลือ
ซึ่งกันและกันในการเรียนและการแก้ปัญหาอย่างมีความสุข
