Problems in Professional Experience Training of Student Teachers in the Promotion of Science and Mathematics Talented Teachers (PSMT)

Abstract
The purpose of this descriptive survey study was to explore the problems in professional experience training of student teachers in the Project for the Promotion of Science and Mathematics Talented Teachers (PSMT) in the following areas: teaching preparation, instructional media, teaching, student teachers, cooperating teachers, supervisors, students, schools and professional experience training preparation program. The population was ninety-one PSMT student teachers of one-year Graduate Diploma Program in Teaching Profession majoring in biology, chemistry and physics from eleven teacher preparation institutes. These student teachers were asked to complete a questionnaire consisted of rating-scale and open-ended questions. Percentages, arithmetic means and standard deviation were used to analyze data. The findings of this study indicated that PSMT student teachers had problems at middle level with teaching preparation, instructional media, teaching, students, and schools. Problems with student teachers, cooperating teachers, supervisors and professional experience training preparation program were found at lower level. These findings suggested that teacher preparation institutes, supervisors, cooperating teachers, schools should cooperatively plan and develop professional experience training for student teachers.

บทคัดย่อ
การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อสำรวจปัญหาการฝึกประสบการณ์วิชาชีพด้านการเตรียมการสอน สื่อการสอน การดำเนินการสอน ตัวนิสิตนักศึกษา ตัวนักเรียน อาจารย์นิเทศก์ อาจารย์พี่เลี้ยง โรงเรียนฝึกประสบการณ์วิชาชีพ และการจัดเตรียมประสบการณ์วิชาชีพให้กับนิสิตนักศึกษา ประชากรที่ใช้ในการวิจัยเป็นนิสิตนักศึกษาในโครงการส่งเสริมการผลิตครูที่มีความสามารถพิเศษทางวิทยาศาสตร์และคณิตศาสตร์ (สควค.) จากสถาบันผลิตครู 11 แห่งทั่วประเทศ ซึ่งเป็นนิสิตนักศึกษาวิชาเอกชีววิทยา เคมี และฟิสิกส์ ที่ออกฝึกประสบการณ์วิชาชีพในภาคปลาย ปีการศึกษา 2546 จำนวน 91 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการศึกษาเป็นแบบสอบถามเลือกตอบ เติมข้อความ ประเมินค่า และแบบปลายเปิด การเก็บรวมรวมข้อมูลทำโดยการส่งแบบสอบถามให้กับนิสิตนักศึกษาฝึกประสบการณ์วิชาชีพในสถาบันผลิตครูแต่ละแห่ง และได้รับแบบสอบถามคืนจากนิสิตนักศึกษาฝึกประสบการณ์วิชาชีพ จำนวน 81 ฉบับ ใช้ได้จำนวน 79 ฉบับ ทำการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยการหาค่าร้อยละ ค่ามัชฌิมเลขคณิต และ ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ผลการวิจัยพบว่า นิสิตนักศึกษาฝึกประสบการณ์วิชาชีพทั้งหมดมีปัญหาด้านการเตรียมการสอน สื่อการสอน การสอน ตัวนักเรียน และโรงเรียนฝึกประสบการณ์วิชาชีพในระดับปานกลาง ส่วนปัญหาด้านตัวนิสิตนักศึกษา อาจารย์นิเทศก์ อาจารย์พี่เลี้ยง และการจัดเตรียมประสบการณ์วิชาชีพให้กับนิสิตนักศึกษา อยู่ในระดับน้อย จากผลการวิจัยทำให้ผู้วิจัยได้ข้อเสนอแนะว่า สถาบันผลิตครู อาจารย์นิเทศก์ อาจารย์พี่เลี้ยง โรงเรียนฝึกประสบการณ์วิชาชีพ ตลอดจนบุคลากรเกี่ยวข้องอื่นๆ ควรมีโอกาสร่วมกันวางแผนและพัฒนาการจัดการฝึกประสบการณ์วิชาชีพครูให้ดียิ่งขึ้น
