Abstract

Ingeborg Bachmann, a female Austrian writer, creates a character of a female simultaneous interpreter from Ludwig Wittgenstein’s language philosophy, which deals with the relationship between language and reality presented in his early work, Tractatus logico-philosophicus. This relationship is reflected through the characteristics and thoughts of the female character who uses her knowledge in many foreign languages in her career. The presentation of this professional interpreter corresponds to some parts of real professional interpreters, the writer’s modern technique and style of writing together with the presentation of certain issues through the main character-her self-alienation, a feeling of the loss of the homeland because of her forgetting the mother-tongue due to the use of many foreign languages, her longing for what she has been familiar with in order to return to her root, her acceptance of the limitation of language to be used in interpretation, all make the short story “Simultan” more complex and more interesting.

บทคัดย่อ
อิงเงอบอรก บัคมันน นักประพันธสตรีชาวออสเตรีย ไดสรางภาพตัวละครสตรี ที่มีอาชีพเปนลามพู ดพรอม มาจากแนวคิดทางปรัชญาภาษาของลุดวิก วิทเกนสไตน ที่ว าด วยความสัมพันธ ระหวางภาษาและโลกแห ง ความจริงจากผลงานระยะแรกชื่อTractatus logicophilosophicus ของเขา โดยสะทอนผ านบุคลิกและ ความรู สึกนึกคิ ดของตั วละครสตรี ที่ใช ความรู ภาษา ตางประเทศหลายภาษาในการทํางาน ถึงแมการนําเสนอ ภาพของตัวละครลามอาชีพดังกลาวตรงกับลามในชีวิต จริงบางบางสวน แตทวาประเด็นที่นําเสนอผานตัวละคร เรื่อง ความรูสึกแปลกแยกกับตนเอง ความรู สึกสูญเสีย บานเกิดเพราะลืมภาษาแมดวยเหตุที่ใชภาษาตางประเทศ หลายภาษา ตลอดจนการโหยหาสิ่งที่ตนคุนเคยเพื่อ กลับมาสูรากเหงา รวมทั้งการยอมรับขอจํากัดทางภาษา ในการแปลลาม ประกอบกับเทคนิคและลีลาการเขียน ที่ทันสมัยของผูประพันธทําใหเรื่องสั้นเรื่อง สิมุลทาน ซับซอนและนาสนใจอยางยิ่ง
