การวิเคราะห์การออมของครัวเรือนในจังหวัดตรัง An Analysis of Household Saving in Trang Province

Abstract
The research aims to study the household saving behaviors in Trang province and the factors influential
to their saving. The sample consisted of 398 households in Trang and the research is conducted by means of
simple sampling. The data of the study is derived from questionnaires designed by the researcher. The statistics
patterns employed in data analysis are the basic statistics and the multiple regression. The findings reveal that
most of households in Trang at least make a saving of 2,500 baht per month, mostly in a form of cash. The main
objective of saving is for their own education, their children and the persons under their supervision. The
factors significantly effecting the family saving behaviors, with the statistics value of .05, are the family
income, the number of family independents and the education of the familys leaders, respectively.
