Predicting Factors for Histrionic Personality of Prathomsuksa Six Students in Songkhla Province

Abstract

This research aimed to study the relationship between good home environment, good school environment, and students’ histrionic personality, and to find the predicting factors for histrionic personality. The samples were 767 Prathomsuksa VI students in Songkhla province. The research instruments were 1) a questionnaire on 4 aspects of good home environment: good rearing and training, good family relationship, good exemplary conducts of students’ guardians, and guardians’ acceptance of their children; 2) a questionnaire on 3 aspects of good school environment: teachers’ attention and care, good peer relationship, and appropriate class control and school regulations; and 3) a histrionic personality test. The data were then analyzed for simple correlation coefficient, multiple correlation coefficient and predicting factors. It was found that there was negative correlation between home environment, school environment and students’ histrionic personality, significantly at .01, in 4 aspects: good family relationship, good exemplary conducts of students’ guardians, teachers’ attention and care, and appropriate class control and school regulations. Good predicting factors for histrionic personality were good exemplary conducts of students’ guardians, good rearing and training, appropriate class control and school regulations, and good peer relationship. These factors could co-predict 13.28 % of histrionic personality.

บทคัดย่อ
การวิจัยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างสภาพแวดล้อมที่ดีภายในบ้านและสภาพแวดล้อมที่ดีภายในโรงเรียนกับบุคลิกภาพเรียกร้องความสนใจ และค้นหาตัวพยากรณ์บุคลิกภาพเรียกร้องความสนใจ โดยศึกษากับนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6 ในจังหวัดสงขลาจำนวน 767 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ แบบสอบถามสภาพแวดล้อมที่ดีภายในบ้าน 4 ด้าน คือ การอบรมเลี้ยงดูที่ดี สัมพันธภาพที่ดีภายในครอบครัว การปฏิบัติตนเป็นแบบอย่างที่ดีของผู้ปกครอง และการยอมรับในตัวบุตรของผู้ปกครอง แบบสอบถามสภาพแวดล้อมที่ดีภายในโรงเรียน 3 ด้านคือ การดูแลเอาใจใส่จากครู สัมพันธภาพที่ดีระหว่างเพื่อน การปกครองชั้นเรียนและกฎระเบียบของโรงเรียนที่เหมาะสม และแบบทดสอบวัดบุคลิกภาพเรียกร้องความสนใจ สำหรับการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลหาสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์อย่างง่าย สัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์พหุคูณ และการค้นหาตัวพยากรณ์ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า สภาพแวดล้อมภายในบ้านและสภาพแวดล้อมภายในโรงเรียนกับบุคลิกภาพเรียกร้องความสนใจ มีความสัมพันธ์กันในทางลบอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01 จำนวน 4 ด้าน คือ สัมพันธภาพที่ดีภายในครอบครัว การปฏิบัติตนเป็นแบบอย่างที่ดีของผู้ปกครอง การดูแลเอาใจใส่จากครู และการปกครองชั้นเรียนและกฎระเบียบของโรงเรียนที่เหมาะสม สำหรับตัวพยากรณ์ที่ดีในการพยากรณ์บุคลิกภาพเรียกร้องความสนใจได้แก่ การปฏิบัติตนเป็นแบบอย่างที่ดีของผู้ปกครอง การอบรมเลี้ยงดูที่ดี การปกครองชั้นเรียนและกฏระเรียบของโรงเรียนที่เหมาะสม และสัมพันธภาพที่ดีระหว่างเพื่อน ตัวแปรเหล่านี้ร่วมกันพยากรณ์ได้ร้อยละ 13.28
