A Research and Development of Research- Based Learning Management Model in the Educational Research Course (The Research Funding for Development of the Pattani Campus, Pattani Campus Research Fund)

Abstract
The main purpose of this study was to develop a research-based learning (RBL) management model for the Educational Research Course (276-402), which was offered to students of the Faculty of Education, Prince of Songkla University, Pattani campus. The study was divided into two steps. The first step was to develop the RBL-management model, and the second step was to conduct an experiment, applying the RBL-management model. Participants were 68 students who enrolled for the course in the first semester of 2009. Those for the second step were 102 students who registered for the course in the second semester. Data were analyzed by content analysis, descriptive statistics, and inferential statistics. The RBL management model comprised six types: 1) training students to be able to question and solve problems systematically, 2) integrating various instructional techniques, 3) Encouraging students to have vital basic skills for learning, 4) practicing students research skills through different step, 5) using the findings to teach students research procedures, and 6) stimulating students through continuous evaluation. Findings of the experiment were the averages of students desirable characteristics on basic knowledge about research, research-based problem solving skills, and characteristics of researchers of the experimental group were higher than those of control groups at 0.05 level of statistical significance.

บทคัดย่อ
การวิจัยมีวัตถุประสงค์หลักเพื่อพัฒนารูปแบบการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบใช้วิจัยเป็นฐานในรายวิชา 276-402 การวิจัยทางการศึกษา คณะศึกษาศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ วิทยาเขตปัตตานี การวิจัย ประกอบด้วย 2 ขั้นตอน คือ 1) การกำหนดรูปแบบ การจัดการเรียนรูแ้ บบใชวิ้จัยเป็ ฐาน และ 2) การทดลอง จัดการเรียนรู้แบบใช้วิจัยเป็นฐาน มีกลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็น นักศึกษาคณะศึกษาศาสตร์ที่ลงทะเบียนเรียน ปีการศึกษา 2552 ภาคการเรียนที่ 1 จำนวน 68 คน และภาคการเรียนที่ 2 จำนวน 102 คน การวิเคราะห์ ข้อมูลประกอบด้วยการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา การวิเคราะห์ สถิติเชิงบรรยาย และการวิเคราะห์สถิติเชิงสรุปอ้างอิง ผลการวิจัย พบว่า การจัดการเรียนรู้แบบใช้วิจัย เป็นฐานที่ผู้วิจัยพัฒนามีลักษณะสำคัญ คือ 1) ฝึกให้ ผู้เรียนตั้งปัญหาและหาแนวทางแก้ไขอย่างเป็นระบบ 2) บูรณาการเทคนิคการจัดการเรียนรูปแบบหลากหลาย วิธี 3) ส่งเสริมผู้เรียนให้มีทักษะพื้นฐานที่จำเป็นต่อ การเรียน 4) ฝึกทักษะวิจัยให้แก่ผู้เรียนทีละน้อยตาม ลำดับขั้นตอน 5) นำผลวิจัยมาสอนควบคูกั่บการเรียนรู้ กระบวนการวิจัยอย่างสมดุล และ 6) กระตุ้นผู้เรียน ด้วยการประเมินอย่างต่อเนื่อง ผลการทดลองจัดการ เรียนรูแ้ บบใชวิ้จัยเปน็ ฐาน พบว่า นักศึกษากลุม่ ทดลอง มีค่าเฉลี่ยคะแนนความรู้พื้นฐานทางการวิจัย ทักษะ การคิดแก้ปัญหาทางการวิจัย และคุณลักษณะของ นักวิจัยสูงกว่ากลุ่มควบคุมอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ ที่ระดับ .05
