The Status of Pattern Receiving and Significance Acceptance of Folk Art in Contemporary China

Abstract
Abstract With the vast and rapid Social Transition of China, whether the folk art receiver had understood the meaning of an artistic symbol or not, and, how the degree in which she or he understood it, directly impacted the status of both folk art in people’s perception and existing status in village culture. Through fieldwork and questionnaires in Lan village and Shangdong village, many villagers were found to only understand the pattern of art symbol, failed to recognize various symbolic meanings that art attempted to imply or communicate during the receiving process. This lack of understanding would appear between pattern receiving and significance acceptance. Under the influence of mass culture, simple formal beauty could be seen all over the world. If villagers did not pay attention to the culture significance of a folk art symbol, they would lose ability to accept them actively and positively.

บทคัดย่อ
ในช่วงเปลี่ยนผ่านทางสังคมที่เกิดขึ้นอย่างรวดเร็วในประเทศจีน ไม่ว่าผู้รับการถ่ายทอดศิลปะพื้นบ้านจะเข้าใจ ความหมายของสัญลักษณ์ทางศิลปะหรือไม่หรือจะเข้าใจในระดับใดก็ตามล้วนมีผลกระทบทางตรงต่อสถานะของศิลปะพื้นบ้านในการรับรู้ของประชาชนและสถานะของศิลปะพื้นบ้านใ นปจั จุบันในวัฒนธรรมหมู่บ้านจากการเก็บข้อมูลภาคสนาม และแบบสอบถามในหมู่บ้าน หลัน (Lan) และหมูบ้านซานตง (Shangdong) พบว่า ในกระบวนการรับการถ่ายทอดศิลปะพื้นบ้าน ชาวบ้านจำนวนมาก มีเพียงแต่ความเข้าใจในรูปแบบของสัญลักษณ์ทางศิลปะ แต่ไม่ตระหนักรู้ถึงความหมายทางสัญลักษณ์ที่สื่อออกมา การาขาดความเข้าใจอาจเกิดขึ้นในระหว่างกระบวนการรับการถ่ายทอดและการยอมรับคุณค่าศิลปะพื้นบ้าน ภายใต้อิทธิพลของ วัฒนธรรมมวลชน ความงดงามตามรูปแบบที่เรียบง่ายอาจเป็นสิ่งที่พบได้ทั่วไป หากชาวบ้านเหล่านี้ไม่ให้ความสนใจต่อความสำคัญทางวัฒนธรรมของสัญลักษณ์ที่ปรากฏในศิลปะพื้นบ้าน พวกเขาก็อาจไม่สามารถยอมรับศิลปะพื้นบ้านได้ อย่างแท้จริง
