การศึกษาปัญหาการออกเสียงสระภาษาฝรั่งเศสของผู้เรียนชาวไทย
Investigating Pronunciation Problems of French Vowels by Thai Learners

Abstract
The objectives of this research are to study and analyze the problem concerning the pronunciation of 16 French vowels, and also their causes and suggestions for correction. The data were collected from 10 third-year French major students who are studying in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Mahasarakham University. Each participant was asked to read a list of 98 French words. The result shows that there are 733 errors from 1,480 utterances. The possible causes of mispronunciation are the interference from Thai as their mother tongue and English as their first foreign language as well as the complexity of the pronunciation of French vowels. Regarding their correction, it is important to study the articulation of each vowel, to use the minimal pairs, to compare the French vowels to some Thai vowels which have a similar sound and which the students may use to pronounce or to correct each badly pronounced sound.

บทคัดย่อ
งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาและวิเคราะห์ปัญหาตลอดจนหาแนวทางแก้ไขการออกเสียงสระภาษาฝรั่งเศส ทั้งระบบจำนวน 16 เสียง ข้อมูลที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ได้มาจากกลุ่มตัวอย่างที่เป็นนิสิตวิชาเอกภาษาฝรั่งเศสชั้นปีที่ 3 คณะมนุษยศาสตร์และสังคมศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหาสารคามจำนวน 10 คน โดยศึกษาจากการอ่านรายการคำจำนวน 98 คำ ผลการศึกษาพบว่ามีข้อผิดพลาดจำนวน 733 ครั้งจากการออกเสียงทั้งหมด 1,480 ครั้ง ข้อผิดพลาดในการ ออกเสียงสระนี้สรุปได้ว่ามาจากสาเหตุ 3 ประการ คือ อิทธิพลของภาษาไทยในฐานะภาษาแม่ อิทธิพลของภาษาอังกฤษ ในฐานะภาษาต่างประเทศที่หนึ่งและความซับซ้อนของกฎเกณฑ์การออกเสียงสระในภาษาฝรั่งเศส ส่วนแนวทางการ แก้ไขปัญหานั้นมีหลายวิธี เช่น การสอนวิธีการออกเสียง การใช้คู่เทียบเสียง การเปรียบเทียบกับเสียงสระในภาษาไทย ที่มีสัทลักษณ์ใกล้เคียงกันหรือการแก้ไขการออกเสียงทีละเสียง
