การวิเคราะห์วิทยานิพนธ์ศึกษาศาสตรมหาบัณฑิต มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ ระหว่างปี พ.ศ.2533-2542

Abstract
บทคัดย่อ
การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์วิทยานะพนธ์ศึกษาศาสตรมหาบัณฑิต มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ ระหว่างปี พ.ศ.2533-2542 เป็นการวิจัยเชิงบรรยาย โดยการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหาและวิเคราะห์อุปนัย จำนวนวิทยานิพนธ์ที่นำมาวิเคราะห์มีทั้งหมด 457 เล่ม เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บข้อมูลเป็นแบบตรวจสอบรายการ (checklist) และวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยการแจ้งนับความถี่คำนวณค่าร้อยละ และพรรณนาวิเคราะห์ ผลการวิจัยพบว่าด้านผู้ทำวิทยานิพนธ์ ผู้ทำวิทยานิพนธ์เป็นเพศชายมากกว่าเพศหญิง มีอายุอยู่ในวัน 26-30 ปี ส่วนมากประกอบอาชีพ ครู อาจารย์ สถานที่ทำงานอยู่ในจังหวัดปัตตานี ด้านวิทยานิพนธ์ มีการผลิตวิทยานิพนธ์ออกมามากในปี พ.ศ.2541 เรื่องที่นิยมทำการวิจัยเป็นเรื่องเทคนิคและวิธีสอน ประเภทการวิจัยใช้ระเบียบวิธีวิจัยเชิงบรรยายเป็นส่วนมาก กลุ่มตัวอย่างนิยมศึกษากับนักเรียนในระดับชั้นประถมศึกษา วิธีการสุ่มกลุ่มตัวอย่างส่วนมากใช้วิธีการสุ่มแบบแบ่งชั้น รายวิชาที่นำมาวิจัยมากที่สุด ได้แก่ วิชาคณิตศาสตร์ เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บ รวบรวมข้อมูลใช้แบบสอบถาม การตรวจสอบคุณภาพเครื่องมือส่วนมากตรวจสอบโดยการหาค่าความตรง อำนาจจำแนก และความเชื่อมั่น นิยมศึกษากับข้อมูลปฐมภูมิ สถานที่ที่มีการเก็บข้อมูลมากคือ จังหวัดปัตตานี สถิติภาคบรรยายนิยมใช้ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน สถิติภาคอ้างอิงนิยมใช้การทดสอบค่าที่ร่วมกับการวิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวน มีการใช้สถิติอื่นบ้างเพียงเล็กน้อย เช่น Factor Analysis, Discriminant Function Analysis, The Mann-Whitney U Test การใช้เทคนิคเดลฟาย การนำเสนอข้อมูลส่วนมากนำเสนอโดยการใช้ตารางประกอบการบรรยาย ข้อเสนอแนะการวิจัยคือ ควรมีการปรับปรุงหลักสูตรโดยเพิ่มเนื้อหาด้านระเบียบวิธีและสถิติชั้นสูงให้มากขึ้นเพื่อช่วยให้นักศึกษาสามารถทำวิจัยในรูปแบบต่าง ๆ ที่แตกต่างไปจากเดิม

Abstract
The qualitative research aimed to analyze the Master of Education Theses submitted to Prince of Songkla University during A.D.1990-1999. Four hundred and fifty-seven theses were analyzed by content analysis and analytical induction. The data were recorded on the researchers designed checklist worksheets. The analysis was presented in the form of frequency, percentages and verbal descriptions. It was found that most thesis researchers were male, aged 26-30. Most of them were school teachers in Pattani. Most theses submitted in 1998, resorted to descriptive research and pertained to teaching techniques and methods. Inmost theses, stratified random sampling was preferred and the samples were often primary school students. Mathematics was the subject which most frequently selected for study. In collecting the data, questionnaires with verified and established validity; discriminating power and reliability were used. Most studies made use of primary data collected from sources in Pattani. For descriptive statistics, percentages, arithmetic mean and standard deviation were mainly used. For inferential statistics, the t-test and analysis of variance were conducted. A few researchers employed the factor analysis, the discriminant function analysis, the Mann-Whitney U Test, and delphi technique in their studies, The results of most analyses were presented in the from of tables and descriptions. It is suggested that curriculum should be reviewed by adding more contents in research methodologies and statistics to enable students in conducting different research approach.
