Evaluation on the Internal Quality Assessment System at Prince of Songkla University

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine and compare opinions of assessors and assessing receivers that effected on the internal quality assessment system at Prince of Songkla University. The comparison was carried out on collecting the opinions of assessors by classifying on the positions of assessors. The study also compared opinions of assessing receivers by classifying on the positions of assessing receivers and types of working units. A total number of 244 questionnaires were delivered to a group of assessors with a responding rate of returned questionnaires at 84.84 percent while a total number of 318 questionnaires were delivered to a group of assessing receivers with a responding rate of returned questionnaires at 80.50 percent. The collected data were analyzed by computing the values of frequency, percentage, means, and standard deviation. The studyresults indicated as follows. 1) For overall image, the opinions of assessors and assessing receivers on the internal quality assessment system were rated at high average values. 2) The results of comparisons on the opinions indicated as follows. 2.1) The different status of each internal quality assessor would effect on items of the internal quality assessment system. 2.2) Assessing receivers from different offices of internal quality assessment system would give different opinions on items of the internal quality assessment system. 2.3) The internal quality assessors and assessing receivers had different opinions on the internal quality assessment system.

การศึกษาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาและเปรียบเทียบความคิดเห็นของผู้ประเมินและผู้รับการประเมินที่มีต่อ ระบบการประเมินคุณภาพภายในของมหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ โดยเปรียบเทียบความคิดเห็นของ ผู้ประเมิน จำแนกตามตำแหน่งภายในคณะกรรมการประเมินคุณภาพ รวมทั้งเปรียบเทียบความคิดเห็นของผู้รับ การประเมิน จำแนกตามตำแหน่งและประเภทของหน่วยงาน กลุ่มประชากรที่ใช้ในการวิจัยประกอบด้วยผู้ประเมิน คุณภาพภายใน จำนวน 244 คน ได้รับแบบสอบถามคืนร้อยละ 84.84 และผู้รับการประเมินคุณภาพภายใน จำนวน 318 คน ได้รับ แบบสอบถามคืนร้อยละ 80.50 วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้ค่าความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และความเบี่ยงเบน มาตรฐาน ผลการวิจัย พบว่า 1) ผู้ประเมินคุณภาพภายในและผู้รับการประเมินคุณภาพภายในมีความคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับ ระบบประเมินคุณภาพภายในโดยภาพรวมมีความเหมาะสมระดับมาก 2) ผลการเปรียบเทียบความคิดเห็นพบว่า 2.1) สถานภาพของผู้ประเมินคุณภาพภายในที่แตกต่างกัน มีความคิดเห็นต่อระบบการประเมินคุณภาพภายในรายด้าน แตกต่างกัน 2.2) ผู้รับการประเมินคุณภาพภายในที่มาจากต่างหน่วยงานกันและตำแหน่งในหน่วยงานต่างกัน มีความคิดเห็นต่อระบบการประเมินคุณภาพภายในรายด้านแตกต่างกัน 2.3) ผู้ประเมินคุณภาพภายในและผู้รับ การประเมินคุณภาพภายในมีความคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับระบบประเมินคุณภาพภายในรายด้านแตกต่างกัน
