ความสนใจของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลายต่อสถานการณ์เกี่ยวกับความร้อนและเทอร์โมไดนามิกส์
High School Students' Interests in Contexts of Heat and Thermodynamics.

Abstract
Abstract This research investigated students' interest in heat and thermodynamics contexts. A questionnaire was constructed and administered to 154 high school students in Bangkok. They were asked to indicate their degree of interest in learning more about a particular context on the Likert scales and to explain the reasons for their interest. The data from the questionnaire analysed with the use of T-test to identify the contexts by comparing the interest between and within context groups: The findings revealed that the students showed high interested in the contexts of Thermal Imaging Cameras, Global Warming and Greenhouse Effect, Aircraft Machines, Solar Cooking, Different Planets: Different Temperatures, Fire Walking, and Maintaining Body Temperature respectively and lacked interest in the contexts of Mapping Todays Weather, Sea - Land Breezes and Thermostats. There is no significant difference between boys and girls interest in these contexts. Students interest in each context depends on the context itself, not on the context groups or types. The patterns of context that interested them involved:1) those with impacts on their life, 2) energy saving, 3) useful and applicable issues in their daily life, 4) how things work, 5) new knowledge and technology, 6) unbelievable events to capture their imaginations and 7) topics or situations unknown to them before.

บทคัดย่อ
การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการสำรวจความสนใจของนักเรียนที่มีต่อสถานการณ์เกี่ยวกับความร้อนและเทอร์โมไดนามิกส์ มีการสร้างแบบสอบถามและนำไปใช้กับนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลายในกรุงเทพมหานคร จำนวน 154 คน เพื่อให้นักเรียนระบุระดับความสนใจในแต่ละสถานการณ์เกี่ยวกับความร้อนและเทอร์โมไดนามิกส์ พร้อมทั้งอธิบายเหตุผลในการระบุระดับความสนใจต่อสถานการณ์นั้น ๆ ข้อมูลจากแบบสอบถามนำมาวิเคราะห์โดยการเปรียบเทียบความสนใจของนักเรียนระหว่างกลุ่มและภายในกลุ่มของสถานการณ์ และโดยการเปรียบเทียบความสนใจระหว่างนักเรียนหญิงและชายโดยใช้ t-test ผลการวิจัยแสดงให้เห็นว่า นักเรียนระดับชั้นมัธยมปลายมีความสนใจเรื่องความร้อนและเทอร์โมไดนามิกส์ในสถานการณ์ เกี่ยวกับกล้องจับความร้อน ภาวะโลกร้อนและปรากฏการณ์เรือนกระจก จรวด การหุงต้มโดยใช้แสงอาทิตย์ ความแตกต่างของอุณหภูมิของดวงดาว การเดินลุยไฟ การรักษาอุณหภูมิร่างกาย และพบว่านักเรียนไม่สนใจในสถานการณ์เกี่ยวกับแผนที่ภูมิอากาศประจำวัน ลมบกลมทะเล และตัวตัดไฟอัตโนมัติ นักเรียนหญิงและนักเรียนชายไม่มีความแตกต่างกันด้านความสนใจต่อสถานการณ์ต่างๆ เกี่ยวกับความร้อนและเทอร์โมไดนามิกส์ นอกจากนี้ความสนใจของนักเรียนในแต่ละสถานการณ์นั้นไม่ขึ้นกับกลุ่มหรือชนิดของสถานการณ์ เมื่อจัดจำแนกเหตุผลของความสนใจของนักเรียน พบว่านักเรียนจะมีความสนใจในสถานการณ์ต่างๆ เมื่อสถานการณ์นั้นเกี่ยวกับ 1) ผลกระทบต่อการดำรงชีวิตของนักเรียน 2) การประหยัดพลังงาน 3) ประโยชน์และการนำไปใช้ในชีวิตประจำวัน 4) การค้นหาว่าสิ่งต่าง ๆ ทำงานได้อย่างไร 5) ความรู้และเทคโนโลยีใหม่ ๆ 6) เหตุการณ์เหลือเชื่อที่ตรงกับจินตนาการของนักเรียน และ 7) สิ่งที่ไม่เคยเรียนหรือรู้มาก่อน
