Abstract

Abstract Under the concepts of epidemiology and biomedicine which are currently used as a main concept in handling health problems. This article aims to describe the issue of sexual practices among prisoners that may lead to HIV acquisition. Narratives from case studies presented in this article show that traditional epidemiological and biomedical concepts are unable to fully describe or respond to the issue of sex between prisoners and the implications for HIV. Sexual practices among the prisoners are the individual practice for relationship negotiation under the context of prison.

บทคัดย่อ
ภายใต้กรอบแนวคิดเชิงระบาดวิทยาและการแพทย์ชีวภาพ ซึ่งถือได้ว่าเป็นกระแสหลักของการ จัดการปัญหาด้านสุขภาพในปัจจุบัน บทความนี้มีจุดมุ่งหมายในการนำเสนอประเด็นเกี่ยวกับเพศสัมพันธ์ ของผู้ต้องขังในเรือนจำซึ่งอาจนำพวกเขาเหล่านั้นไปสู่การติดเชื้อเอชไอวี โดยจากเรื่องเล่าของกรณีศึกษา ได้สะท้อนภาพว่าเพศสัมพันธ์ที่เกิดขึ้นมีบริบทที่ขยายขอบเขตออกไปจากกรอบคิดขององค์ความรู้ เชิงระบาดวิทยาและการแพทย์ชีวภาพ ทั้งนี้เพราะปฏิสัมพันธ์ดังกล่าวคือรูปแบบหนึ่งของปฏิบัติการเพื่อ การต่อรองความสัมพันธ์ของปัจเจกภายใต้บริบทของอาณาบริเวณเรือนจำ
