Abstract

The purpose of this study is to study the CFOs’ leadership and professional knowledge in accounting of frozen seafood industry and including the relationship between the two and financial performance. Data were collected through by the questionnaires filled out by 169 accountants and financial employees. The tools used are descriptive statistics and correlation analysis. The outcome revealed that Finance and Accounting CFO’s had high to highest leadership skills. They had the highest level of professional knowledge, intelligence, selfdrive, self-confident, integrity and motivation respectively. These CFOs have high to highest knowledge level of professional accounting with the best knowledge in Tax Accounting, followed by Accounting System, Auditing, Managerial Accounting, Financial Accounting and Accounting Information Technology, respectively. Their leadership skills and knowledge of professional accounting were not related to business operational performance of frozen seafood industry.

บทคัดย่อ
การศึกษานี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ ศึกษาภาวะผู้นำและความรู้เชิงวิชาชีพบัญชีของผู้จัดการฝ่ายบัญชีและการเงิน ของธุรกิจในกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมอาหารทะเลแช่แข็ง และศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างภาวะผู้นำและความรู้เชิงวิชาชีพ บัญชีของผู้จัดการฝ่ายบัญชีและการเงินกับผลการดำเนินงานของธุรกิจในกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมอาหารทะเลแช่แข็ง การ เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลเก็บจากพนักงานฝ่ายบัญชีและการเงิน จำนวน 169 คน โดยใช้แบบสอบถาม และวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ด้วยสถิติบรรยาย และวิเคราะห์สหสัมพันธ์ ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ผู้จัดการฝ่ายบัญชีและการเงินมีภาวะผู้นำอยู่ในระดับ มากถึงมากที่สุด ซึ่งมีคุณลักษณะด้านความรู้มากที่สุด รองลงมาคือด้านความฉลาด ด้านพลังผลักดัน ด้านความเชื่อมั่น ในตนเอง ด้านความซื่อสัตย์ และด้านการจูงใจ ตามลำดับ ผู้จัดการฝ่ายบัญชีและการเงิน มีความรู้เชิงวิชาชีพบัญชีอยู่ ในระดับมากถึงมากที่สุด โดยมีความรู้ด้านบัญชีภาษีอากรมากที่สุด รองลงมาคือ ระบบบัญชี การสอบบัญชี การบัญชี บริหาร การบัญชีการเงิน และเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศทางการบัญชี ตามลำดับ โดยภาวะผู้นำและความรู้เชิงวิชาชีพ บัญชีของผู้จัดการฝ่ายบัญชีและการเงินไม่มีความสัมพันธ์กับผลการดำเนินงานของธุรกิจในกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมอาหาร ทะเลแช่แข็ง
