Abstract

This article is a synthesis of German-Thai linguistic contrastive studies conducted between 1978 and 2008. It has two main objectives: To give an overview of linguistic contrastive studies on these two languages as well as to make suggestions for further development in this field of study and To share the knowledge derived from this synthesis with Thai linguists whose expertise is not limited to German and Thai languages. Their views and experience may shed light and give new perspectives for specialists in German. This intended exchange is made possible by imparting the knowledge derived from the studies involved through Thai language. Regarding the content of the article, all the Thai-German linguistic contrastive studies within the scope of this synthesis are reviewed in terms of quantity, characteristics and studied topics as well as the methodology used, followed by a chapter about all relevant factors leading to this resulted overall picture.

บทคัดย่อ
บทความนี้เป็นการสังเคราะห์งานวิจัยที่ศึกษาเปรียบเทียบภาษาเยอรมันกับภาษาไทยระหว่างปี พ. ศ. 2521- 2551 โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์หลัก 2 ประการ ประการแรกคือ เพื่อสะท้อนอนภาพรวมของการศึกษาวิจัยเปรียบเทียบภาษา ทั้งสองภาษานี้ โดยการปริทัศน์ผลงานวิจัยต่างๆ ที่เกี่ยวข้อง ตลอดจนเสนอแนะทิศทางที่ควรจะพัฒนาต่อไปในการ ศึกษาเปรียบเทียบภาษาทั้งสองนี้ ดังนั้น นอกจากจะนำเสนอภาพรวมของงานวิจัยที่ศึกษาเปรียบเทียบภาษาเยอรมัน กับภาษาไทย โดยวิเคราะห์ทั้งในเชิงปริมาณ ลักษณะของงานวิจัย ประเด็นที่ศึกษา และระเบียบวิธีวิจัยที่ใช้แล้ว ยัง กล่าวถึงปัจจัยที่ส่งผลกระทบและก่อให้เกิดภาพรวมดังกล่าวด้วย ส่วนวัตถุประสงค์อีกประการหนึ่งก็คือเผยแพร่องค์ ความรู้ที่ได้จากการสังเคราะห์งานวิจัยเหล่านี้เป็นภาษาไทย เพื่อเปิดเป็นเวทีที่จะทำให้การแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ข้าม สาขาได้โดยนักวิชาการภาษาศาสตร์ภาษาอื่นๆ ที่ไม่รู้ภาษาเยอรมันอาจได้แนวคิดใหม่ๆ จากการสรุปและสังเคราะห์ เนื้อหาของผลงานเหล่านี้ ตลอดจนให้ข้อคิดเห็นและวิจารณ์ประเด็นต่างๆ อันจะเป็นประโยชน์แก่นักวิชาการสาขาวิชา ภาษาและวรรณคดีเยอรมันต่อไป
