Abstract

The objectives of this report were to compare opinions on the administration of tambon center and on the agricultural development among the centers’ committee members in each southern provinces clusters, and among different groups of agricultural occupations. Data were obtained from surveyed questionnaires from the total of 2,035 committee members in 14 southern provinces. Results indicated that there were statisticall differences at P<.05 among the opinions on the administration of tambon centers and on agricultural development. When the opinions were compared on the total average of 7 issues and on each average issue of the administration of tambon centers, there were highl and statisticall differences at P<.01 between each provinces cluster. When the opinions were compared on the issues of agricultural development, there were no statisticall differences between each provinces cluster. However, when the opinions were compared both on the administration of tambon center and on agricultural development there ware not statisticall differences among the different groups of agricultural occupations especially rice, para-rubber, and fruit cultivations. Therefore, the government should strongly support the operational development of the Tombon centers. The committee members should be strengthened on comprehensive knowledge and practices of modern and rapidly changing agriculture. They should be able to formulate agricultural development plans that would result in improving efficiencies in line with the philosophy of economic sufficiency of the self-reliant communities.

บทคัดย่อ
วัตถุประสงค์ของการวิจัยเพื่อเปรียบเทียบความแตกต่างค่าเฉลี่ยความคิดเห็นในการบริหารจัดการศูนย์ ฯ และ การพัฒนาการเกษตรระหว่างคณะกรรมการศูนย์ฯ ในแต่ละกลุ่มจังหวัด และระหว่างกลุ่มการประกอบอาชีพเกษตร ของคณะกรรมการศูนย์ฯ เป็นการศึกษาเชิงปริมาณโดยใช้แบบสอบถามสอบถามคณะกรรมการศูนย์บริการ ฯ ใน 14 จังหวัดภาคใต้ จำนวน 2,035 คน ผลการศึกษาพบว่า การบริหารจัดการศูนย์ฯ และการพัฒนาการเกษตรมีความ แตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (P<.05) และเมื่อเปรียบเทียบความแตกต่างในการบริหารจัดการศูนย์ ฯ ทั้ง 7 ประเด็น ปรากฏว่า ค่าเฉลี่ยรวมและค่าเฉลี่ยใน 6 ประเด็นของการบริหารจัดการศูนย์ ฯ ในแต่ละกลุ่มจังหวัดมีความ แตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญยิ่งทางสถิติ (P<.01) แต่เมื่อเปรียบเทียบความแตกต่างในประเด็นการพัฒนาการเกษตร พบว่า ค่าเฉลี่ยรวมในแต่ละกลุ่มจังหวัดไม่มีความแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ อย่างไรก็ตามเมื่อวิเคราะห์ เปรียบเทียบความแตกต่างระหว่างกลุ่มการประกอบอาชีพเกษตร 3 กลุ่มอาชีพ คือ ทำนาหรือทำไร่ ทำสวนยางพารา และทำสวนผลไม้ ปรากฏว่า ทั้งค่าเฉลี่ยรวมและค่าเฉลี่ยความคิดเห็นในแต่ละประเด็นทั้งของการบริหารจัดการศูนย์ ฯ และการพัฒนาการเกษตรไม่มีความแตกต่างอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ ดังนั้น ภาครัฐควรส่งเสริม สนับสนุน ในการ พัฒนาศูนย์ ฯ อย่างจริงจัง ให้คณะกรรมการศูนย์ ฯ มีความรู้ความเข้าใจในด้านการเกษตรที่ทันสมัยและทันต่อการ เปลี่ยนแปลง สามารถจัดทำแผนงานพัฒนาการเกษตรที่ก่อให้เกิดประสิทธิภาพแก่ชุมชนตามปรัญชาเศรษฐกิจพอเพียง เพื่อให้ชุมชนสามารถพึ่งตนเองได้
